Indian Floriculture experienced the transformation from bullock cart transportation to air lifting by charted flights in a span of just eight years. Indian research fraternity in collaboration with the industry succeeded in indigenisation of technologies to a great extent. Besides the increasing domestic demand, combating the urban stress, floriculture fuels aesthetic security. Today, Indian floriculture is a harmonious blend of science, art and extension. This book is a compilation of extended summary of papers presented in “National Symposium on Recent Advances on Floriculture and Urban Horticulture in Global Perspective” (NASRAFUH-2018) during 4-5th January, 2018 at Farmers’ Academy and Convention Centre (Lake Hall) Kalyani, BCKV. A sincere attempt is being made to fuse the latest advancements in the sphere of floriculture in this book.
